i know u guys know this ...what is the difference between a diatal-c and a diatal-ta and why is the ta clearer ???? thanks

welcome to the fire. Are those discontinued models? I am only aware of the Victory and Victory HT.

The C series has a 1" tube, and I never had a problem with clarity, only tube length.

thank u jimmy... yes they are older discontinued

jstuart...yes the c is one inch and shorter than the ta ....the ta is 26mm and a bit longer but noticeably clearer......both the same power and objective ...thought there was something on the inside that was different .........thanks mike

Zeiss says there are 3 years difference in the 2 scopes which would mean better coatings on the lenses for better optics and the 26 mm being larger will be brighter which will appear sharper..... and while i was there asked about Zeiss wipes Ph ( which is 7 ) if anyone is interested some lenses require a certain Ph range for the coatings that are on the lenses for cleaning......thanks for the interest......
