Hi there.
Could someone inform me on whether Kimber walnut stocks are hollow in the butt section? I know some firearm manufacturers like Sauer does it, probably to save some weight.

Nope, not hollow. Solid wood.

I am surprised anyone has seen the butt stock of a Kimber as they glue on the recoil pads. Not so easy to check that way.
