In Windows 7, all of a sudden I cannot save anything to my "favorites" list. When I try, up pops a little window saying "unable to create........, access denied". I have rebooted, run my avast antivirus and done a system restore back a week or so, all to no avail. Anyone got some suggestions for me? Thanks

Wish I could help but I have never seen that occur.

Lots of issues have happened as a result of the latest windows update.
If you have a Windows 7 repair disc, you can fix this easily without losing any of your stuff.
If you don't have one, you'll need to find a friend that does...

If you don't have one, you'll need to find a friend that does... Or just download the iso you need from digitalriver here: http://best-windows.vlaurie.com/boot-disks.html#fullYou'll need a DVD burner and will need to burn an "image" Windows does not do images IIRC but you can use a free image burner such as: http://www.imgburn.com/As long as you have your key code the disk will work even if you need to do a full reinstall. I also believe starting with Vista and thru Win8, these are all available for download at various places but the link with all of them on one page is eluding me at the moment
