i only use honey i get locally, the store bought stuff sucks and has no flavor

Honey can vary quite a bit in color. A vet my mother worked for used to give us some that was the real thing, and also quite dark.

we have a local Hutterite group and the stuff they have some times is amazing, one thing i really like about raw, natural honey is that you will never get the same taste twice. In that report they say the beekeepers accidentally but incorrectly label the jars, that's what i like about honey.

There was a recent hoax in Michigan about honey contaminated with BPP.
It was pointed out that the worker bees are sterile females and do not have Pee-pees.

The solution here is very simple......Know your bee keeper! That's it.
What we produce cannot be bought on most if not all grocery shelves.

One "take away" from this is those Chinese are ubiquitous! You can't pick up anything in a store with some link to them.
But of course, they "own us" by carrying a great deal of our debt.
