Anyone use these tarps? Experiences? They appear to be a great bang for the buck.
For those that have used them, are you using the Adventure or Expedition series? 1 or 2?

They make some good stuff. They do make one of the lightest too that comes in at just over a pound.

The tarps from Outdoor Equipment Supply (OES) are the absolute finest out there, IMO. Caternary-cut edges won't vibrate in the wind. This can get loud enough in 25mph winds to not only wake you up but keep you that way. http://www.outdoorequipmentsupplier.com/rectangular_tarps.php

I just picked up a 10x14 1.1 SilNylon one of these and it is VERY well made! Worked great two weeks ago in the BWCA where we got 1.5" of rain... http://www.cookecustomsewing.com/sheltertarp.htm

Well I haven't even seen the tarp yet myself but I do know it has been on some Alaskan sheep hunts and possibly some other adventures. I will probably know more next week and may even use one this weekend. There have been a couple requests from people that have used it on hunts and seen it

I have this Terra Nova Poncho Tarp from the Pathfinder store. weights 1.2 pounds in the carry bag. It's 7x7, and I LOVE IT!
