Lets say my eyes ain't much younger than yours. But its only been in the last few years they have gone really worse.
Of course it didn't help having chitty vision in the distance as a young kid.
Shot a 16 inch wide 8 point buck one morning early. Was about 60-70 steps away in the early morning.
Imagine my surprise thinking I"d just smacked a nice sized doe. To find a set of antlers once I got closer.... Well, at least he was legal width, if you were in your home county!!

That was WELL before anyone ever thought of antler regs, well not really, it was shortly after they decided you didn't need to PROTECT spikes..... and when they decided you could shoot does too.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Not so much when you are invited to hunt and supposed to shoot does.... but it was ok in the end with the owner. Honest mistake.
