Hello folks, I'm needing 1 or 2 T3 long action magazines (standard 3 round). Im working on handloading some longer rounds for my 7mm08. Please let me know if you have one you could part with for a reasonable price. Thanks very much, JT

Did you change the bolt stop? IIRC the bolt stop will not allow you to use the LA mag to it's full effectiveness in a SA caliber...

This is something I have thought about. Shorten the bolt stop and use a 06 magazine with a T3 in 308 win so I can seat the bullet out to touch the rifling and still feed from the magazine.
Has anyone done this?

Yes and it does work. Parts were/perhaps are available from Brownell's. Mine is a T3 in 338 Federal.

Yes. No longer have the COL issues with the longer heavier bullets.

There is a youtube video showing how you can grind/file down the bolt stop to allow for longer bolt throw. Or you can buy a new one at exorbitant retail pricing. Ive seen a kit which includes both the long and short bolt stops(why both i'm not sure) and it is at least 50 bucks if I remember correctly.

The kit from Berretta/Brownell's has both short and long stops and is rather expensive. You can file/modify the stock one as well. I choose to get the kit.
