I can speak for his smithing. It's positively top notch!
And one of these days, I will get down there to share some BBQ with him.

If his Personality is any indication of his smithing, it should be 100% a possitive experience.

You guys are embarrassing me.......keep it up. Brian, one rule---it's 'Mickey'....not Mr. Coleman. I'm named after a rat, you know.

Ok Mickey.. I always address gentlemen by their last name. It was the way I was brought up. But now that I have been asked, I will address you as you have asked me to.
Looking forward to the rifle. And top of the morning to all you gentlemen.

Looking forward to the rifle. And top of the morning to all you gentlemen. I was brought up the same way but once you've become an adult for *ahem* several years you cease to see much difference in ages. I do acknowledge your good manners and upbringing and it reflects well on your parents.

I've spoken to Mickey via PM a few times, and he seems like a top notch 'smith. I hope the day comes when I can have him work his magic on one of my "dream guns" like a lightweight Bob. The old Mauser gets heavier every year, and I've always wanted to try the .257, so maybe that time will come soon.

If his Personality is any indication of his smithing, it should be 100% a possitive experience. Anybody that sheds a tear when somebody here writes of the loss of a beloved hunting dog just has to be a good guy. Mickey is one of many here on the 'Fire that I'd like to meet in person one day. John

John That would be swell but it's got to be here in Alabama 'cause I have no plans to come to Sweden. Too old to travel that far and somebody has to take care of my "babies". I've not always been this tender hearted towards animals, John. It started after I got Belle, my JRT, and has gotten worse each year. I'd hate for people to see me read some of the threads about losing a beloved pet. I'm a pretty sad case, I will admit.

Mickey is a damn good gunsmith. I am expecting my baby back soon.
When you communicate with him, it is best to use the written word. Because I can't understand a thing he says.

Bead blast? Just rough it up with some sandpaper. She's gettin' Krylon'd regardless. And no need to stamp, I got a great memory. I'm a bit west of Vermont. Pine trees make awful syrup FYI. Travis

My oh my, I never put two and two together about you living so close by to Birmingham.
Is there a website I can reference services, or perhaps an email address/telephone number?
