Iver Johnson Hercules double barrel 12 gauge. 30" barrels, M/F. Stock, checkering professionally redone. Barrels re-struck and rust blued. Receiver retains much of its original case hardening colors. Nice and tight. Bores like mirrors. Early 1930's vintage.
This gun was Iver Johnson's attempt to breech an upper scale market than the cheap single shots and revolvers they were known for. The timing was bad due to the ongoing Depression, so the model was relatively short lived. A shame, as these were very well made guns, on a par with the field grade offerings of more prestigious manufacturers.
A recent thread discussing SxS's under $1000 got me thinking that perhaps now is the time to sell it.
$600/obo. Plus shipping to your FFL/C&R. Will consider interesting trades, particularly a lower power Unertl/Fecker/Litschert/Lyman target scope.
