Here are the plans for our 2014 Campfire Hog Hunt.
Schedule:
Wednesday,5 March: Arrive in the afternoon.
Thursday,Friday,Saturday, 6,7,8 March:Hunt
Sunday,9 March: Leave in the morning
Price:
$695 for hunters
$250 for non-hunters
Maximum number of participants and lodging:
31 in the cabins,all in bottom bunks.
3 couples in the house.
Preferences:
Prior attendees and their relatives get first preference.
Newbees get second preference if there are any spots left
open.
Making a reservation:
Checks will be made out to Wilderness and sent to Pugs.
This is to, hopefully, keep the interlopers out who have
been showing up and taking our spaces. The 24HCF will
have exclusive use of the cabins and the hunting.
Traditions:
We'll have the traditional "bring your own food" on Wednesday evening.
Some of our incredibly generous hunters bring lots of great food for our opening evening together. Two smoked hog dinners will take place on Thursday and Saturday(or maybe Friday). More info to follow.

hoping like hell to swing it but unfortunately this is one of 3 possible trips in March and April and no way im gonna be able to afford them all

I think that getting our children to enjoy the outdoors, and especially hunting, can make a big difference for our children.
And I do like the old but true adage that "If we hunt with our sons, we will never have to hunt for our sons."
The Hog Hunt also gives the children a chance to see and meet a variety of personalities and the value they place on hunting and each other.

plane tickets from Billings to Nashville actually arent as bad as i thought.....maybe i can squeeze in all 3 trips....hold a spot for me right now, ill know for sure in plenty enough time that if i have to give mine up someone can grab the spot.....
