Don't much care for the bottom metal and drop box magazine, but Stiller makes really nice actions. I would use one for a build anytime if I could fit it into my budget.....

I had one of these before they were called a Spectre and a regular item. Stiller made a small special run of the octogon actions a couple years ago. The rifle was sweet, and one of the few I wish I had held onto And after I refinished it

Hard to believe you sold that sweet looking rifle. How did it shoot? I'm thinking of building a dedicated deer rifle on a Stiller action and that one would just about fit the bill perfectly.

Darren75B what stock is that? I've had a few stiller actions and never have been disappointed...

The rifle shot very well - in the 0.3's IIRC. I'm a grade A horse-trader when it comes to guns, so many of them don't stay around too long.
That stock is a Manners T2 - perhaps my favorite tactical stock. Forearm is similar to a McMillan A5, but without the butt hook of the A5. It's much nicer riding bags than an A5.
I've owned a number of Stillers, and this one was the smoothest
