Winchester Shows a .264 mag w/26" barrel on their website. I can't find one anywhere. Has anyone on the fire seen one up close and personal yet? Seems like a really nice gun/idea. I own one extreme in .300 wsm. Nice gun. Shoots a couple of my hand loads well under moa right out of the box. Just can't find one. I'm guessing they have not made any yet. Anyone know???Tyia ......goodshot

I haven't seen one for sale either. I kinda thought it would make for a sweet packing muley rifle. Love my 264.. Ton's of juice and really accurate with the 140 AB's.

Makes me wonder if they have shipped or built any yet. I've seen regular sporters, and feather wights , but zero .264. I'm going to check with Winchester!

My LGS guy saw them at the SHOT show and ordered some. He was told that it would be the middle or late September before they would be shipped to dealers.

Winchesters part number is 535110229 and it weights 7 lbs and 4ozs
List price is $1239.99. I checked Davidson's Gallery of Guns they show the item number but stock is 0 at this time. I will check other distributors and report back if any are in stock.

I have been on the waiting list since the shot show. Winchester originally said they would be out in april 13 then pushed it back to june 13, then pushed it back to august 13, and now they said it would be at least another 2 months. Cabelas is supposed to be getting most of these guns as they are shot show specials and bought 70% ish according to winchester.

I have a buddy that just scored a BEAUTIFUL FN made 264 Win Mag Supergrade. It has one of the nicest sticks of wood I've seen on any rifle in a long time. He's just started with breaking it in a little but it's already shooting MOA or better with 120 CLs and a mild charge of H4831. Pretty sure it'll be a great shooter.

If it holds true, hopefully those EWs will be real nice as well. I've had the 264 for a couple of years, an older Classic Sporter, but it's a shooter as well and very nice to shoot.

The EW would make one dandy foul weather Muley and elk rifle loaded up with a 140 PT, AB, or A-Frame.

Kind of the original "Beanfield Rifle" I think Winchester is smart brining this classic back. One way or another the 6.5 caliber seems to hold on. This gun seems like a nice package. 26" barrel makes some sense I have an Extreme Weather in a .300wsm and it's an honest moa gun right out of the box with a couple of my hand loads . I have a 6.5 creedmoor and a 6.5-06 ackley.....I would consider letting the ackley go in favor of this .264 win mag. I wish they would keep chambering the 6.5 x55, .260 rem, 6.5 creedmoor and the 6.5-284. All nice rounds . Goodshot

Still do from their website. In Featherweight too.

Tanner....how you doing? I been trying to keep up with what you are shooting......280 AI now......?.you got rid of the .243AI right. If you ever decide you want to try a 6.5 of some type I have a 6.5-06 AI 26" shilen trued SS 700 bdl B &C medalist .... Also have it set up as a switch barrel with 24" Kreiger 30-06 AI. You would truly have the one gun do everything set up. It shoots really great.....I think it has a rile Basix trigger as well. Hope your doing well......I'm thinking your back at school......study hard. Headed to Montana after speed goats and Mulie's my 25-06 is shooting like I hoped. That way I can buy that Modl 70 and save for the Forbes I have on order in .280 rem. Goodshot

I realize this is a old thread but I seen this gun in a rmef magazine and instantly wanted it.
I sold some things to get it and orderd and waited 3 months for it.
Mounted uo a huskama 5x20x50 scope and hit the range. . 10' off @ 100 yards.
Scope dose not have enough windage adjustment to correct.
Also factory ammo will not chamber in it.
I'm pretty sure the lead is not cut rite.
I then thought it was the scope rings so after 2 different sets of rings with same results I put a nightforce scope on it.
Same results.
I took it to a local smith he found that top of reciver is not drilled straight.
So pressed for time I bought the leupold rear adjustable rings and base's and got it to shoot.
Also the brag about there controlled feeding on the Web sight.. bs.
The bolt catches the belt on the case and it's a pain to cycle.
Also safety falls forward to middle position..
Then finally whent hunting and weather was bad and gun rusted???
I even wiped it down with Remington wipes before and after the hunt..
It's supposed to be there extreme weather version? ?
I called them and there customers service is less than poor..
I don't recommend it or I have the worst luck in the world !!!

This is a shame to hear!! One of my favorite factory guns in one of my favorite cartridges....disappointing to say the least! Good luck with your quest to get them to make it right.

The time is drawing nearer for the American People to stand up for what they believe in. To stop having their rights trampled by the a$$holes in Washington D.C.
