I need a pair of boots, preferably made in the US. Not schit-kickers, or anything that resembles a cowboy boot.

Just comfortable, plain, brown leather that works with khaki trousers.

Any ideas?

For every day wear I like the US made Justins. Not for working though. Stay away from the cheap Justins made in China. Easiest way to tell the difference is the price.

Whites in Spokane Wa. Triple stitched and can be rebuilt. Custom fits available too. I've worn them work and play for 30+ years and will likely never wear out my dress boots.

I have worn Redwing, Whites and Double H. When this current pair of Whites wears out I will switch back to Double H. They wear well and break in without any pain. The Whites about crippled me getting them broke in. Both pair of Double H I just put on and went to work. I like these. LOGGERS

Another vote for Red Wings.

Their #875 6" boot is the most comfortable made IMO.
Been wearing em for 40+ yrs.

Their #866 Pecos boot is another good one if you like a slip on.

I wouldn't think anything west coast would be popular here.

Redwing. I've been using the USA made RW's for years and I always will. I have literally thousands of hours on them and they keep going, with propper care.

They are simply the most comfortable footwear I own and wear them when I'm not at work as well.
