I have a pair of cowboy boots made out of elephant foreskin.

Those are handy, if you stroke em a bit they turn into hip boots.

But don't use em for cold water wading.. shrinkage... wet feet... terrible..

Yea. I really like my Browning Featherweight Roos. They are insulated. I have some Russell Mocs with lined leather shaft and they feel good on my feet all day long. I can chase blue quail in the desert on and off all day and driving home at night they still feel good on my feet like good soft gloves. 10 B # 7695 with softer Vibram Gumlite shallow tread soles.

Buy them tight and they stretch to fit like a glove. Not the best for steep terrain though.

I really like my limmer boots. They are a one piece outer leather that is Norwegian welt construction. The liners are also leather and they are rebuildable. They are kinda pricey, but they last forever. One of the best customer service I have ever had.

Looks like a nice product, by my gosh their website is really tough to poke around on.

Count me as someone who did NOT have good luck with Redwings. Both boots fell apart in about a year and a half. The seems just came apart. Redwing of course, did nothing.

I like my USA Danners and Schnees. If I am going to have a really long had day in my boots, I reach for the Schnees, but I dont have a bad thing to say about the Danners at all. The Schnees are just a little more refined.
