I just got my Western Powders Reloading Guide in the mail on Saturday. They list some interesting data with Accurate 2520 with the 3 main bullet weights for 300 Savage. Anyone using it?

Have some but haven't used it yet as I still have what's most likely a lifetime supply of Winchester 150 grain Silvertips. I do intend to try it in the somewhat near future to see how close to the listed specs my loads will be. Sorry as that's not really any help.

I envy you blokes being able to get Accurate Arms powders, its not imported down here. 1680 must be the best small cal powder ever, all the powders they show for the 300 sav look better than othere makes

Johno...
Do they import (Hodgon) H4895 down there? If so, I found my hunting load for my 1953 "EG" in .300 Savage to work very well.
I use 40.8 grains of H4895 behind a 140 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip bullet sparked by a standard Winchester large rifle primer in Winchester-Western cartridge cases.
This load is slightly less than the book's "maximum load" and yields a chronographed 2635 fps 3 fps (+1/-2 fps) and gives good accuracy.

Johno Have to agree on the 1680. I loved that stuff. Have a 1/2 pound but nothing to shoot it in. Still have 680 as well.

Ron, H-4895 is actually made here in Australia and exported & re badged in the US, here its abelled 2206H. Its made by a fine Australian company called Australian defence Industries, right? No it used to be, of course in our down under wisdom we sold the company to the French, Thales. I think the bulk of Hodgdon powders are now made here. Oh before I forget, you guys pay something like $20.00 per pound, give or take, we pay $47.00 for the same ammount. I wont get wound up on this because it is a pet gripe of mine. Its also a very good powder, ive had great results from RL-15 so I stick with it and the 150 SSTs
I would love to get hold of some 1680 for my 19 badger, now that rifle will go with me to the grave. James Calhoon in Havre Montana turns out some great rifles based on the CZ 527 action, the badger, 30 m.1 case necked down is the most accurate rifle ive ever owned.
