Set up the Giraud case trimmer in 30-06 to start last night. Thing is sweet. no more inside/outside chamfer/deburring of cases. Will have to clean off case lube next time before trimming. Just did a batch of 50 to get it all figured out. Next month I will order the .308 and .243 cutting head and case holder for each caliber. so caliber swaps are fast and simple.
Christmas come early.

I have one too. Just got it last year. Sure does make it easier, quicker, n does a better job than anything else I have ever used.

I have had one for over 10 years and like yourself I don't think anything else comes close to topping it. I also have his case annealer.

I have one and love it. It was one of those things that once I used it the first time, I asked why did I wait so long to buy one. That reminds me, I need to order a caliber conversion for .280.

I don't see what it does that a WFT doesn't do. "No more inside/outside chamfering"? Who cares. If you are after speed, then the Dillon trimmer in a 650 is your huckleberry. Cases come out resized (twice), trimmed and the necks expanded with a Lyman M die, about a thousand cases per hour

Load 100 a month and you will change your mind.

Giraud is great. I got a Gracey years ago, and could not be happier. Had special shell holders made so you can trim unsized brass. This was for brass fired in my own rifles. I have trimmed over 10,000 rounds, and has worked great. The Giraud is the Cadillac, and the best thing is you stick it in turn, and out and you are done, so simple. You made a wise decision.
