My little girls first and most recent kill spans almost ten years. Got the camper loaded and hooked up to the CTD. Heading out in the morning for her last youth season. Next year she will hunt as an adult. Damn how time flies.............. X-VERMINATOR
Sooner or later our heritage of hunting is going to be a rich mans sport and the words "Outfitter" and "Hunt Industry" will be synonymous with cancer and A.I.D.S. among blue collar hunters like me and my family! (A.L. Williams - 2010)

My daughter's first year of hunting. Been shooting since she was 7 but just this year decided that she wanted to do some hunting at the urging of some of her girlfriends at school. Nice fat bird just in time for Thanksgiving. She made a fine shot with a .223 Rem 700 at 220 yards. If she's doing that at 11 I'm not sweating the boys coming around just yet! [img:center] [/img]

Don't forget the NRA. I picked up a life membership for my daughter's 7th birthday. You should have seen her face when she read her name on the Life Membership certificate.
"An archer sees how far he can be from a target and still hit it, a bowhunter sees how close he can get before he shoots." It is certainly easy to use that same line of thinking with firearms. -- Unknown

Wonderful thread gentleman. I have a 2yo and a 2month old daughter... My 4yo son is already interesting in hunting, though not been in the field with me except for doves. I can't wait to bring them over and enjoy time out together. I can;t agree more than to give them the time now and show our kids we love them. My son told me this morning as I left for a 30h shift "I never will forget you love me... don't forget I love you"

Fifteen years old, and her first big game animal. A single 180 gr soft point tucked in behind the shoulder, through the lungs, and out the far side of the neck. DRT, and from her 303 British of course. Ted

Momma's been working a lot lately, so my two are tagging along pretty often this season. The little one tries to keep up, but generally winds up plumb worn out. She's gotten some good naps over the last few weekends.....
