If you don't want deer to die with precision via a very graceful rifle, then steer clear of Redneck. He builds a great gun and if you can't handle a rifle working like a champ then you'd best use someone else. If you need something to complain about in your build, then don't use him. He builds them right!!! And the proof is in the blood pudding!!! His build for me continues year after year putting deer down with effortless precision. I guess this build would be deemed a Winchester Ultimate Super Grade. 338-06 A-Square, 200 gr. Nosler Accubonds, 2750 fps. Georgia buck down...

Such slander ought not to be tolerated among sportsmen! I hope he sues you for a backstrap!

Now you're talking!
Sad fact, I've never fished the lake itself. Just the TN river.

I hear ya! Hey, if you are ever out this way drop me a line. We can go drown a worm or two. As to your OP, that's a beautiful fun in a great chambering. I've seen Lee's work first hand as he did some fine tuning for my brother. He's top notch. Congrats on a great deer!

Redneck will do my work when I finish gathering up the parts. He comes highly recommended by the folks at the 'fire who've used him. I intend to find out for myself!

He's done some work for me. Reasonably priced and quick turnaround. I kept trying to figure out the catch....

I enjoyed working with Redneck on my lowly Remington build. He is a first class guy on top of being a great smith.

Well done, got any better pics of the "bluing"? It's actually Cerakote; Midnight Blue. I wanted a tough coating over the "stainless steel" that would resemble bluing as closely as possible.

I hope he sues me for a bass fishing trip to Lake Guntersville and comes down to make good on it! Probably won't be able to make it there, but I sure appreciate the offer.. My son, OTOH, would drool over that trip.. When I first saw the header I thought, "oh-oh, what did I do now?" I'm happy to see that rifle performing like it should - and you got a nice animal there sir.. Congrats.
