Tx. opened two weeks back, like to wait for some cooler weather. One rule of thumb says "two weeks after the 1st good frost. I will start cleaning out possums Thanksgiving.

We had our first frost here about 4 weeks ago. Our firearms season for possum has been open so my son and I did a little population reduction sat. night at one of the farms we trap to try and reduce the number in our traps when season starts.
