so, in your world, what prevents a .375 from shooting to 400 yards?

is it:

A) a .375 bullet won't make it to 400?

B) a .375 bullet won't kill anything at 400?

C) a .375 bullet isn't accurate at 400?

D) you can't figure out the trajectory of the .375?

E) you can't compensate for said trajectory?

I'm leaning to D and E on this one.

Why would you want to shoot a deer with a 375 H&H just to shoot it and at 400 yards and beyond? lets take a 257 weatherby as simple as pie in the sky! With the rifle zeroed three inches high at 100 yards, bullets landed an inch high at 300 yards and dead-on my point of aim at 400.

Use a Gun and caliber what it was meant to be and for , not what you want it to be > But the Yuppy people want what they want and the Stupids just Egg them on. Enjoy.
