I've got a Classic Varmint that shoots lights out and has my daughter's name on it, no plans on letting it go as she is only 3. Good luck in your search, Jon

Thanks, I don't blame you a bit!
I am just looking for a plain classic sporter. Hopefully someone will see this and be interested in letting it go.
Thanks

I have a Hunter model that's in almost new condition. The wood isn't super-fancy, but there's some fiddleback all the way up on the left side of the stock, though not so much on the right side. It shoots VERY well, too.
If you're interested, I'd be willing to talk price. Could also include a set of Talley Lightweight rings.

Thanks so much for the offer Mule Deer. I have a Hunter currently. Mine shoots lights out also.
I am looking for a Classic specifically this time but thanks again for the offer.

The Classic will have a grip cap on the pistol grip and also will typically have better wood. It may have either a red or a gray buttpad. Oil finished and hand checkered. Post 2003 models will likely have a step down in the barrel similar to those seen on some CZ's rather that a standard sporter taper.
There is probably more that I am not thinking of currently and I am certainly am no authority on the subject.

Does this mean you are looking to part with that SA with the killer lumber?
