Did Weatherby ever offer the vanguard as a stainless 25-06?

Howa still makes a stainless .25-06. Would be nearly identical to the Vanguard, I should think.

Better yet--back up a decade or so, get a Vanguard Back Country (SS) in .270win, wrapped in a B&C, hone, and polish the trigger, replace the trigger spring, and you will have a rifle that will make most of the "media hyped" custom rigs ashamed of them selves. Just saying. G

The Vanguard will have a 24" barrel the Howa will have a 22"...the stainless 25-06 old style Vanguard was built out of better steel 410 vs 416 for starters
