Like many of you, a big part of my hunt is getting the kids out there, so lets see how yours did. Here's my youngest, Roman with his 9pt Mn. buck, he made a great shot with his newly put together pre 64 M70 .270 fwt/ mcm edge. Next week we'll be in MT chasing mule deer with his older brother.

Nice job fellas. My son has been killing numerous deer everyday, he may have a problem. He's about 2 1/2 now and shoots all the deer racks hanging in our house with his plastic rifle. I really should get a picture one of these days. Keep up the good work with the next generation.

Handwerk...close-ups on Roman's rifle would be pretty cool, I know I'd like to see a bit more of it, and expect others might as well
Nice buck

I hope I can do as well with my kids,,,, my daughter has some interest but at 13 she has the attention span of a cricket and so many other things going that it's hard to get her out there,,,, my 11 year old son just doesn't have the itch,,, trying to create some interest without pushing them but it's hard.

I think my favorite time of the year around the campfire is deer season. Every year I get to see pics of kids and wives and such, who have just taken their first deer, or first buck.
It always reminds me of days I spent hunting with my grandfather, my wife, my son and my friends. All a man can hope for is that those memories will be enough if he is blessed to live past his hunting years.
Thank you guys for posting.
