After a week of getting up with the alarm clock, I'm not really looking forward to doing it again tomorrow. I just keep reminding myself it's for a better cause.

other side was broke off at the base. it was a pretty weird antler. it really did make dragging him out a lot easier, it was a comfy handle!
I don't have anymore pics right off hand, I can get more tomorrow for you if you like.

Nah, don't go to any trouble. I was just curious wbether the other side looked anything like the side visible in the picture. Quirky, but i can see what you mean about a comfy handle with the way it's turned like that.

Little Hint: If she doesn't like doing it, don't make her. I almost ruined my wife on deer hunting that way when I told her, "You shot it. You have to help cut it up" Lesson learned Those bucks look like twins!

It's about -10 out in da woods this morning. Trees are popping, wow it's a chilly morning! That sounds fairly miserable.  I be freezing my white tail off on stand, too, but it's not that cold here. It's 17F rigbt now (was 24F at 6AM). It's the wind that's getting to me this morning. It's gusting into the upper 30's and the few deer I've seen have been real skittish. Stay warm everyone.

We have 5 surprise attendees at camp including one very pregnant little chicken mama lol! It's going to be a super fun night. Even the WEEZY is going to be here tonight! I do believe we have enough chicken buck members here at camp to be able to place Dustys ashes on the ground at the base of his deer stand tomorrow.
