That's a good one. I have a friend who has taken at least two deer a year on his farm every year since 1978 with his Rem 788 in .243. Never lost a deer, never needed a second shot. He's always used Remington factory ammo.

I'm not the biggest fan of the .243 but that record speaks for itself.

Don ( Savage_99) is our contra indicator. If he says its no good, you can bet on it being a true performer.

it uses spacers though, which is another reason I don't like the long action #1's. Also, I've never found them to be accurate without floating the forend with a rubber o-ring.

Shefire,

Here's to your Imagination and to just how [bleep] badly you need it. Funnier than [bleep],that of all the things you can Pretend...results ain't one of 'em.

Bless your heart.

BEST Thread Evah!

'gwe,

I like my short actions,long...thus my Salvage penchant.

Laffin'!

'Cub,

'Tis a rather intellesting Dichotomy...that all of your Outdoor pics have me in them. Looking forward to the excuse(s). Laffin'!

You "hard chargers" are a [bleep] riot!

You go girl.

Gee,

You ain't gonna top your Dumbfhucktitude,of swooning a 5 Gallon Bucket Ranch.

Though in fairness...your pics is funny, for reasons well beyond your comprehension.

The Texas Version of everything is [bleep] hilarious.

Laffin'!

'1r,

Don't be too [bleep] hard on Poor Dumb Don,she simply doing the best she can...with what incredibly little she has to work with.

Ever note that just like the rest of The Do Nothing Gang, that she's an Excuse Factory, when it comes to pics of herself. Poor poor stupid [bleep],are a [bleep] riot!

Still would love to see a pic of Brinky,Cub,'squeeze,Magnum Doosh,Shefire,Jeff-O and the rest of 'em,in a single herd.

Too [bleep] funny,to think of that many crossed-eyes in one setting.

Laffin'!

DD,

The L/A #1 Repeaters in 25-06,are the schit.(grin)

'22,

Might you be implying that the Lying Do Nothing [bleep],ain't doing "great"?!!?

Laffin'!
