Jason, I love your yard!!! Great pictures!
My yard wouldn't produce near as many of the photo opportunities as yours! Even when it isn't covered by 8" of snow and below zero out!!!
Keep em coming,
Ken

Ken Yes but I can't take pictures of snow I haven't seen it here in 12 years. I'd love the opportunity to shoot some photos in MT. I have friend there in Sweet Grass that told me yesterday that it was 1 Deg and a WCF of -21!! I don't know how you guys do it.

My wife would not like your yard... LoL.
Great macro photos! I like the wasp the best. Nice contrast with the coloring.

About 25 yards from this keyboard this AM just before the sun crested the horizon. About a dozen of these guys were stealing scraps from the bird feeder, so I grabbed Cookie's camera. As they trailed off a pair of these guys showed. This one was running on 4 legs, and this one was running on 3. The right rear main mount was missing. A noticable gimp, but it looked healthy and was keeping up without too much extra effort. The deer had moved off about a 100 yrds, were keeping an eye on the dogs, but showed no real signs of alarm. A buddy clued me in on their present value this season. I should have grabbed the 22 LR instead.

You're yard has one up'ed mine Not so. Many more interesting life forms moving around in your neighborhood. With temps in the single digits and below for the last couple weeks here, only the toughest of warm bloods are moving around. A few winter birds, some quail, eurasian doves, and some chubby cotton tails. The deer are a pain. Even when folks are out hunting them, we can't run them off. One of the bunnies soaking up some solar power, and a California quail under the feeder.
