I would rather be lucky than god any day of the week. I decided last week that since Tennessee's rifle season is open the entire month of December that I would keep a rifle with me just in case where ever I went as long as it was legal. Well that opportunism paid off. I was haying some heifers when I spied a buck feeding in the edge of some hardwoods in my pasture field. I climbed out the tractor cab, scoped him, confirmed he was a shooter, took rest on the front tractor tire and the rest is history. Dont punch yourself in balls just yet The two luckiest Elmers on the Fort still ain't bagged a buck (super8 and joker) If you'd just sit your ass still for a couple hours instead of hacking thru all that kudzu with a spec ops machete looking for rubs you might see a buck. Charge the batteries up in your portable dialysis machine and insulin pump and we'll get after them late season sloppy seconds.
