35 grains of H-4895 with 100 grain bullet gets good reviews.
I have found 34.7 to 35.2 gr of RL-15 with 100 grain bullets to shoot well.
Good old IMR3031 is a classic in the .250 Savage.
Work up with caution as these are max loads and watch for pressure signs.
God is pursuing you America ---turn around!

Lately I've been loading 34 grains of 4064 under a 100 grain Sierra Game king. This is in WW brass with a Rem 9 1/2 primer.
Out of my 24" barrel 700 Classic it's giving about 2750 and is not a hot load at all. Pretty mild actually, and extremely accurate.

My standard .250 savage load (for bolt guns) is 38.7g of WW760 or H414 behind a Nosler Solid Base Boattail/Ballistic Tips (bought a bunch when they were still making them) - have used this combo to put a bunch of venison in the freezer. This load shoots very good to exceptional in all my 250 bolt guns......FWIW
