Spindly little ol' horns...... (grin)

Sucker's neck probably hurt toting that stuff around every day.

I found this buck last year and a blown opportunity with a client shooting crooked bullets. He was a 200+ deer last year. Never seen him again until 2 weeks ago. He has a couple pretty distinct ear notches. He lost a lot if length and gained a lot of mass.

Nice! I swear there's been some mule/white crossing the way the antlers look on some of the southern "mule deer" I see in photos. You never see their antlers branch like that up here.

He was a big typical 10 last year. With forked brows. He went a lot down hill this year. Prolly the oldest mule deer that I have ever seen. No teeth and a severely broke jaw. Something had whipped his Azz before we did. He was still bleeding. Never seen anything else around him. That morning.

What do you mean by "a client shooting crooked bullets"? Sounds odd. Bad or unproven handloads, or is this just an expression?
