Got one just like the boat paddle posted previously. Shoots Fusion 150gr ammo into 1". Love the rifle, ugly stock and all!

Do we really need 15 pages of gayness? What a waste of long actions, nice stocks, and barrel steel. The .270 Wimpchester is for so-called "men" who can't handle the on-game whoop-ass that the .280 Remington or .30-'06 delivers with style and class. whistle grin laugh

It is unusual for me to own just one rifle in any particular cartridge, but I felt obligated to own at least one .270. I chose a really nice Marlin MR7 which I like alot.

This is a most unusual Model 70 .270. It was originally owned by Tom Horn. I got it at a gun show in Wyoming...

With a few mods, that could be a sheep gun!

My two 270 WIN hunting rifles: 1978 Ruger M77, deer hunting on a winter morning in 2004 and a pre-64 M70FW (Douglas barrel) and an eight point taken in 2007.

Or .496 at 3,000. Or .377 at 3,400, but now we're in 7RM territory....

That's pretty cool. Who wrapped it? I had that done once and it was a total disaster.
