Hot or cold is individual choice.
I will say that I keep my seatbelt loose across my lap and unbuckled, yet in a position where I can buckle it quickly if I see an accident about to happen.

I sometimes wear a seat belt and often don't
have never given much of a F what the general consensus is on anything
it's called personal FREEDOM, I make my choices based on what I believe to be is best for me and mine at the particular time and do not need the approval of others for my decisions
how I live, what I wear, my faith, or even how I carry
one of the big secrets to happiness in this life as far as I can tell is....you only have to make yourself happy with your choices.

If you carry a Kahr the question never comes up. I have a MK9 for concealed carry and a CW9 as a house gun. Takes care of the situation nicely in perfect safety.

There is no chamber. Dependable handguns have cylinders. Out of 8 semi auto handguns I've owned I sold them all as undependable. Glock, Kimber, Colt, Ruger it didn't matter they all jammed. Airweight S & W has never failed to fire, all cylinders are loaded, the hammer is internal so not cocked ahead of time.

Would love to hear all the compelling reasons to carry cold vs winding up dead because of it. I would also love to see where some REAL info would be shown where someone wouldnt have 1 extra second to rack a slide should a person be carrying cold? I have seen it several times while hunting, but never seen it on the street. One second is a loooong time on the street Marty.You'll have to trust me on that�. It also pre-supposes that you have both hands free, when you may very well have one hand full of somebody's neck�..

I've been in far to many fights/assaults to believe that I will never need one hand to fend someone off while I draw my weapon with the other. Been there, done that, I have the Tee-shirt. Fractions of a second are the difference in winning and losing.
