What is interesting to me is that they are cast. I thought I saw somewhere that Granite Mountain actions were all machined from bar stock. How did you come to own it?

This surprises me as well. I thought that their actions were machined from bar stock. Maybe this wasn't used for making the actions?

If you go to their web sight there is no mention of BAR STOCK. These castings were used after the first prototypes were made by Fred Wells . The casting is designed so that it can be machined for right or left hand.
