Anyone tried or heard anything good about the "rack Bracket"? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rack-Bracke...?pt=US_Taxidermy&hash=item2a276b793dThere a heck of a lot cheaper than the horn hanger bracket at cabelas/sportsmans warehouse.

Haven't used that brand but on the last 2 Euro mounts I've got I have used a Little Hooker - I think they run about $40 but they work about as nice as anything else I've tried.

Yeah my buddy has a little hooker and like its, I started doing euro mounts as a side gig, and have a TON done and want to get them all up on the wall and I'm trying to keep the cost down.

Get a nice 18 and take a little time and you can make a bunch like these for dirt cheap.

you can bend 12 gauge wire around inside the brain cavity to where it won't come out and ends up with a triangle of wire to hang on a screw head.... Don't have a photo and hard to explain but thats about as cheap as it gets.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

You might want to consider this method. Saw off the back of the protruding braincase, as in the photo - the skull rests on the teeth and the flat skull cut. The cut begins at the back of the skull and ends up just outside the teeth - leave a little extra bone for sanding the cut flat. Your saw cut won't likely be perfect, so, on a flat surface with sandpaper, sand the skull cut so it sits flush with the wall. If needed, put a little filler inside the skull for a small hole for a hook, and you're done.

Thanks for all the info, the wood placks look great, but they're not for me. Going to pull the trigger on a couple of the rack brackets. For the price, I don't think I can go wrong. I'll post the findings

I just tried these w/ Deer and elk skulls. Worked perfectly. http://masterofskulls.com/store/results.php?category=8&Submit=Go!
Purchased mine at Cabelas for the same price.
