Wow, my local taxidermist is quick. Shot this buck last November and the completed mount is on my wall by April Now about that elk... Both bucks taken here in northern BC...Who says you have to go to Alberta or Saskatchewan to take quality whitetails

Both are nice bucks. I assume the one on the left was done by a different taxidermist, or that the one on the right was done quite a while ago? Anyway, the work on the most recent buck (left buck) is very nice.
Is it Friday yet?

Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

BCBigbore,
That is a nice buck, and I expect in the "large" category for your locale (on the Goldilocks scale).
I would like to hunt in BC too, but Alberta is next on my list. I even looked at becomming a resident alien in BC for 5 years to get in on some of that hunting. My wife is not impressed.

Thanks for the replies, gents. I posted these pic's to poke fun at the prairie boys who seem to get all the press for the larger whitetails. There were even a couple 190 plus bucks taken locally this past season that I know of.
7 STW, Hardt Taxidermy did the mount.
Big Sky, Yup, different taxidermists & the buck on the right was shot in 1992, my first whitetail.
bigbear, both deer were taken in mid November during the rut
Hunter Jim, you best listen to the missus. We put up with a year of lousy weather for a couple months of terrific hunting

Bigbore : It is sure a nice mount but they would have sure made a great set of Rattlin Horns.

A taxidermist needs to come up with QD antlers for just such a purpose...
