Coyote calling N.Florida.Most shots a hundred fifty or less.Using a 257 Roberts and Benelli M1 with #4 buckshot. Have been using an old Johnny Stewart and thinking of getting a newer call. Would like opinions on the Primos Alpha Dog. Thanks, Joe

I've had good luck with mine. Had it about a year. I just us the sounds that came loaded on it. Batteries last quite a while and it gets more than loud enough. I've called quite a few dogs and a couple of cats with it. I still prefer mouth calls but it gets used some every year. Can't mouth call when you're sick...

+1 on Foxpro. Their stuff is really good. They back their stuff. I haven't had the same luck with Primos. My kid was 6 or 7 he asked Randy Anderson to sign his hat. Needles to say I don't buy any thing with his name on it.

Anderson wouldn't give your kid an autograph?

He did but he but he was a half a Dick. Woolley was the man talked to my kid treated him awesome. I gave him the benifit of the doubt. Big show, end of the day. Only so many DFQs you can hear in a day. I have worked those booths. I wasn't asken questions or bugging him. I was looking at stuff at the booth. Him and Wolley were just hanging out. My kid asked him sign a Primos hat. Ran into him at another show. He was arrogant as heck.
I have met a lot guys in the predator industry. 80% are down to earth super good guys. The other 20% wont get my money. No doubt that Alpha dog will call critters. No doubt Anderson kills stuff. There is a ton of stuff on the market that is as good or better than their calls. Maybe there is a reason Will lost half his staff to flex tone.
Back on topic. Primos CS sucks FoxPro has awesome CS. Needed both several times. Using electronics hunting, stuff is going to happen.
