Hey I was looking for some advise on my rifle. I have cleaned this gun oiled it and I can not get it to cycle. It fires ejects the old case and puts a new round in the chamber but when you pull the trigger nothing happens it seems like the fire pin doesn't reset. If I pull back on the action and manually rack a new round it works but then after the shot I have to manually rack a new round again any suggestions? thanks

Probably the best thing to do is take it to a gunsmith you've used before and get it checked and probably get a new firing pin. Dave

That's what I was thinking I may do, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something simple I was missing. My buddy had it before me and said it fired fine I'm not sure if he took it apart.

I bet it is gunked up, technical term, around the recoil spring.

It will not let the action travel all the way back to reset the firing pin.

I had one for many years and I had to tear it all the way down for cleaning about 3 times for the same problem.

With some brands of ammo the action will really get fouled, even around the back of the bolt.

Ditto. Especially with dirty ammo like Blazer or Wolf.
