I bought the Anschutz branded rings sold by Champion Shooters Supply for my 1416 (unfortunately I don't have pic handy). They work well, actually fit the rounded dovetail Anschutz uses and aren't too pricey. There's a pic of the rings (unmounted) here: http://www.championshooters.com/ind...irtuemart_category_id=176&Itemid=111

If it's a 54 action,Leupold or Redfield bases for a 541 Remington work. These are on my 1974 S/A 54 sporter, made by Hillver in Australia with a 6.5x20 Leupold on top.You can also go with rings that fit the dovetails. [img:center] [/img]

I thought Burris signature rings would fit. I was under the impression that they come with two plates for the different groves.

Go DIP extended 25MOA 1913 rail and drive low rings. Hint.

Murphy Precision made the picatinny base I have on my 64 MPR. It is stainless and made better than anything else available. It is 25 moa as well.

Anschutz rifles have 11mm grooves on the receiver, just like the old Kimber of Oregon 82 rifles. The best rings for them are Talley Rimfire rings, made for Anschutz rifles. They are vertically split just like the Kimber rings. Warne 7.3 series rings fit 11mm grooves and Leupold makes a rimfire ring for 11mm grooves as well.

Talleys'are clunky. What could an Anschutz ever do to deserve Talleys?

The warns rings looked to me like they sat over to one side a bit. Just bugged me.

You need to look at the vertically split rings I was referring to. They most definitely aren't clunky. If anything, they are one of the trimmest and efficiently designed rings on the market. They are an exact clone of the Kimber of Oregon 2nd generation rings that typically bring $150 a set.

The Burris Deluxe steel rings(medium) work well on mine. Burris rimfire rings usually come with 3/8" rail clamps but they make an 11mm clamp which will have an "A" stamped on the inside. If you have the 3/8" rings, just call them and they will send an 11mm clamp, no charge.

Not the Z rings which I think are for Weaver bases. Please double check my info at rimfirecentral.com.

I think you're right about the Signature rings coming with both clamps. I've heard that from several sources but don't have personal experience with them on a rimfire. The above Deluxe steel rings came with that rifle. It was quickly apparent that they were 3/8" rings clamped to an 11mm rail. I called Burris and they shipped me the 11mm clamps right away. Those rings have worked out nicely with the scope I'm using.
