Over the last several years, Remington has received a lot of bad press over their QC issues and rightfully so, but today I have to say something positive about Big Green.
I was reading an older thread on the fire related to the Limbsaver recoil pads that turned to mush after a couple years; this explained the problem I was having with two of my shotguns....anyhow, I called Remington a few minutes ago and I now have two new recoil pads and screws enroute free of charge.
24HCF in its entirety, is solely responsible for why my children do not have college funds, my mortgage isn't paid-off and why I will never retire early enough to enjoy the remainder of my life.

I have had nothing but good luck with Remington, your experience mirror mine.

Had the same issue with 2 of my Remington rifles. I provided the serial numbers and within a week had 2 new pads. No complaints here.
