I saw Lone Survivor today, and it is one of those movies you can't miss. If you have a Patriot bone in your body, you need to see this movie.
To see what those men endured and did to help their fellow soldiers, and to try to survive that fight was intense to say the least. To think we have men in this country willing to give everything for us and their fellow soldiers regardless of the odds makes you Proud.
I salute Marcus Luttrell for his service and never give up attitude, and I salute the SEALS for proving they are the elite of the elite and ready, willing ,and able to go anywhere, anytime, for any reason.
I don't drink or Smoke. I spend my money on gunpowder and gasoline.

My nephew (Marine Spec-Ops) saw it. He recommended it. So it's on my list for next weekend.

I'll save my time and dollars. Lot's of other heroes out there without a book/movie. That's a poor outlook...especially if you know his story. Anyways...I plan to see the movie, read the book...not bad once he finally gets out of training!

Read the book, and what a inspiring story. Probably wont see the movie, as they always disappoint me. If you have time to read I highly reccomend his book.

It's about a group a SEALS going in harms way, getting the [bleep] kicked out of them, never giving up, and doing everything they could to get out of the fight alive. It's about the BROTHERHOOD formed in the military.

Neither the book, nor the man do that. It's all about the team effort. If the movie even resembles the book, it too will not even remotely highlight one person.

Read the book saw the movie today . the movie is not perfect but it's still very good . My hats off to those guys they are the toughest SOB's in the world .

hbo did a15 min special on the making of the movie ....Marcus Luttrell picked the director said he did it right and the actors were trained by Luttrell buddys....good stuff
