I read in an interview with him and he supports gun ownership because he feels every person has a right to defend themselves and family. In the interview he also stated he and his wife keep loaded firearms in their home and that he built his wife an indoor range so she could stay proficient.

Just got World War Z with Brad Pitt from Netflix. Very early in the movie he gets a bolt action
with a scope. As the dead people come after his azz he holds that rifle for dear life.

I read the Jack Reacher books and wonder why they picked Tom Cruise to play the part. Reacher is supposed to be about 6'5" and Tom Cruise is about 5'6". I guess the producers were just thinking about the box office draw that Tom Cruise's name would have. I did enjoy the movie, although I thought the book was better.

Well I don't read fiction so I'm glad they made it into a movie and Mr. Midget did a good job.

There are a bunch I hate, but I also understand that if I boycott people for their beliefs, I would have to quit listening to most music, build my own truck, raise my own food, brew my own beer etc. I don't go to the movies, and I won't watch a movie with Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn or Rosie O'donnel if I see they are in it. I do however love Shawshank Redemption, Slingblade, O' Brother Where Art Thou and a bunch of other movies with actors who I vehemently disagree with.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

They did the same thing with Forrest Gump. In the book, Gump was about 6'5", a real good size for an all American running back. Tom Hanks didn't even come close to his size.

Tom Cruise picked Tom Cruise to be Jack Reacher. Just like The Last Samurai, Mission Impossible and most of his other flicks. Any of his movies where he is the super hero, it's of his own design.

Best part of Forrest Gump was Gary Sinise as Capt. Dan grin

Among my many faults, I don't spend enough time vetting performers for their politics and positions on issues. I tend to see them as the characters they portray rather than as real people and judge the character. This is much easier for a simple person like me who looks at such things as movies as entertainment rather than life.

They're all just meat-puppets. That said, I agree with you that Tom Cruise is a nutter. I'll watch his movies and enjoy them, though. Glover, I'll avoid, because I find his personality irritating.

Another leftie whose movies I'll watch is Morgan Freeman. I believe he doesn't care for white people either, but I think he's a terrific actor and do believe he would make a better president than Obama. He's actually been president in how many movies?

Tim Robbins is a major azz-wipe, but Shawshank Redemption (also starring Morgan Freeman!) is a movie I've watched many times and still enjoy.

Mel Gibson is not a left-wing azz-wipe, but an entirely different kind of azz-wipe altogether; an alcoholic wife-beating bigot. And yet I love his movies and think he's a terrific actor.

I don't want to ever meet any of these people in real life, however.

Jane Fonda, IMO, should die screaming.

Pretty good start, Hatari, with the addition of sean penn as mentioned.

On the one hand, if refused to watch any movie based on the lib actors involved, could never watch a movie, and I like a good movie.

That said, some rise to the level of "Aw, hell no...."
