Well, more of my rifles are up for sale to trim things down and gather funds for the "last rifle I'll ever need."

Custom Model 70 Winchester in 308win.
Action: Short Action, New Haven Classic Stainless
Barrel: Pac-Nor SS Super Match, ~2.5 contour @ 23"
Stock: McMillan Bridges pattern with EDGE fill, 13.5 LOP, 1" Decelerator.
Bottom Metal: PT&G lightweight aluminum
Trigger: Factory SS, tuned by Lee (Redneck) to a very, very nice 2.8-3 lbs.
Rifle is bedded (also by Lee)
Action was give "the works" by Pac-Nor with truing, lapping etc. while there getting the barrel.
The gun chambers, extracts, ejects and functions amazingly smooth. You can feel the build quality on this one.
The mag box was opened to 3.1" - so if anyone burns the barrel a 260, 6.5/284, 284win etc. would be great on here as well.
Even with the long box, I can't get it to have any feeding problems - all is smooth and confidence inspiring!

The guns has about 130 some rounds through it. It will drop three 155gr Scenars into half inch or less with regularity. (I can give load data and some bullets and lapua brass to buyer)
I was so confident in this 1/2 MOA load that I took the below pronghorn at lasered 507 yards this past fall.
Rifle has shot other bullets quite well too.
I was contemplating chopping the barrel to 21" for kicks, but it balances great right now and the Bridges stock handles like a dream and points like a fine, svelte English SxS.

Hopefully not forgetting anything - but feel free to PM me if I did.

Price: $1300 plus actual shipping to FFL (from non)
No trades.

Right around 6.5# naked
Light, but not too light and holds incredibly well offhand (or in any position for that matter)

What caliber?
Need is the key term here - Now want is a completely different story.

Good luck with the sale - Nice .308

Long shot I realize...the LOP on the stock is too short for me.

If someone wants to work a deal for the stock, I'd take the barreled action/bottom metal.

That's because it WAS your stock - that I cut down grin

There was someone who posted a WTB add on the classifieds for this exact stock - one would not have a hard time selling it I am sure.

If guys want to separate it, I'd go:
Stock: $525 +shipping
B/A: $775 +shipping

But, an "I'll take it" for entire rifle trumps until both stock and BA are sold and won't sell one without the other sold. (hope that makes sense) So no one gets screwed.

Can you still order a McMillan Bridges stock?

Yes, but only through Bridges (the designer)) or Hill Country Rifles, but unsure of wait times and prices at the moment.
