That is nice! I could see getting one of those in either .06 or 300 Win Mag. Just the sort of thing I have been looking for as well. Thanks for sharing.

Yep, steep price tag. You could buy a couple of other accuracy-guaranteed rifles for that.

Seems like a price point searching for a market.

Good luck to CZ. Lots of ugly for the money. The Badlands is a lot easier on the eyes.

Isn't the Manners stock it comes with worth at least 700? Has a lot of custom touches and I am sure the basic rifle is shipped out of Czech and sent here for modification.

Nice gun...they are just dropping in the standard barrelled action into that stock but the price is not half bad.

I heard it was happening but I was hoping it was bad info. CZ actually cancelled the 550 American line to push people (no pun intended) into their new push-feed model the 557. Wow.
I'm not a push feed hater though, I'd love to see some reviews on the 557.

Interesting how many comment on the exorbitant price but it has a 700 stock, Custom fluted barrel, that ferritic whatever coating which most likely costs big bucks. Not to mention the fact that since it is a CZ they are bound to sell very few of any of their rifles simply because they are a CZ and are not advertised like other semi-custom rifles.
There are semi-custom rifles out there made with B&C Stocks for Christs sake that are even more money then this rifle

All CZ 550's should be available in some metric chamberings especially: 9.3X62 or 6.5X55. Very interesting rifle otherwise. .375 H&H seems a natural also. Plus add a left hand option in all cartridges for my buddy Bill.

It just seems to me like the sum of the parts doesn't justify the cost of the rifle. Especially when you consider they basically will only guarantee it to be a 1MOA gun from the factory.
