OP 1olhunter New Member 1 Joined: May 2006 Posts: 16	I own an Encore 209x50 ML. I am considering buying a 300 Win Mag barrel for it. Has anyone chronographed their encore with a 300 Win Mag 26" barrel? What was the average velocity? Has anyone chronographed the 28" pro hunter barrel in 300 Win Mag. What was the average velocity? What is the accuracy you get with the encore?

VAnimrod Campfire Kahuna V Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 61,130 gone	Every barrel is different. The 26" barrels should give you factory ballistics, and maybe 50 fps or so more. The 28"s, maybe another 50 to 75 fps. Some Encores get great accuracy, some not. Just like everything else.
