The icon indicating that I have a new private message flashes constantly. Is it possible to correct this problem so the icon will only flash when I have received a new PM?

I asked about this same thing a few days ago and nope opening PM's doesn't fix it for me.
I don't PLAY! I quit school because of recess...

Make sure you don't hit the back arrow after checking your PMs. I have done that and wondered why the flag was flashing. If that is not your problem, try hitting the refresh icon.

I have done all the above and it still flashes. Have also deleted all PM's and still flashes.

I have been a member for about a week and mine has been flashing ever since my registration was approved and I never even had a message.
