Call me if you have time on the way down or way back if you're stopping in the Duke City

We are heading down at 5am Thursday morning. Gonna meet Clodhopper at the Belen exit around 10am or so. Dunno if your number is still in my phone after some issues with it. Pm me your number. Wife and I will have some time before meeting them, so if between say, 8 and 10 works for you, we can do that!

Every time I read about one of these Oryx hunts it so makes me want to go back for my third. Perhaps one day I'll have to put in for one of those broken horned hunts you are going on.
Good luck, again, Splatt!!

Good luck, hope you can find one with two good horns.
I did this hunt last year and it was extremely difficult.
The hunt area was pretty limited due to military exercises.
We saw quite a few oryx but I didn't see a mature oryx with two good horns in three long, hard days of hunting and chose not to shoot a juvenile or a one-horned (or no horned!) oryx.
Pretty frustrating for a OIL hunt, hope your luck is better than mine was!
Good hunting!

We are going on a broken horn hunt, so what you report, is good to hear. I saw several broken horns last year on my oil hunt, but ended up not eating a oil tag, and shot a big horn sheep looking cow. Gonna try for a big broken horn, and have the dermist, fix it, for a shoulder mount.

I snuck up to about 15 yards of a bedded big broken horned cow (probably 38-40 inches on the not-broke side) and thought about doing just what you desribed but I was really wanting to shoot a bull and decided to pass. Good luck and look forward to the pics!
