I know leupold makes a one piece rear windage and that a few companies make those see through units.
Who else, decent, makes a solid mount system for the blr steel Gun?

Not sure if the pre-BLR uses the same bases as the BLR 81' but I have Weaver bases and Burris rings on my steel frame BLR 81'.

I have traditional Weaver bases and rings on my BLR (made in 1982), they still make bases for both the newer and older BLR's (#25 & #28). ![[Linked Image]](http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/IMG_2556.JPG)

Talley steel bases and QR rings on my '79 in .358. Warne also makes steel bases for them. Think the Warne bases may be a little lower than the Talley's. Went with Talley's cause I alrady had the rings.
