I'm still trying to learn just exactly what a 223AI is.
It's a wannabe 22-250 that isn't. That's mean.

after reading various threads, I'll add
6- you have no need for binoculars while hunting
7- Your an idiot if you take an axe camping with you in the summer
8- Folks that don't know any better get mad easily if you make fun of their high $$$ toys,
9- Someone has a better price new for what you're selling used in the classifieds
10. I've learn new ways to spell profanity. 11. No matter the subject- all threads over 30 posts will blame a liberal. 12. You need, at minimum, 30 guns in your collection to get through a typical day.

Some guns are so great you'll need a dozen of the same model.

It is here, as much as you could possibly want. I should have phrased it more like-still in short supply for those which cannot resist the urge to buy every box/brick available. I am getting a picture of UN troops trundling through a US town and hundred of Americans hiding behind fences armed with their trusty pea rifles and cases of 22lr on the ground before them. Seriously...why are people hoarding.

That vision cracked me up. I do know one of the reasons some folks hoard. If the dollar tanks and our economic system fail one of the things many people think will be valuable for trade is 22s. I knew a guy who bought ten bricks of 22 every payday. That was 260 bricks a year. I thought and still think he was crazy but that's what he did for the twelve years I knew him. Others may have different reasons. Heck I have my own stash of 22, about seven hundred rounds.

I have enough to last the rest of my life at my current usage. I'll be short handed if I have to hide behind a fence and repel borders.

JSTUART, this place isn't that much different from AHN, your own homegrown campfire, where I go when this place gets a bit too extreme. It's just the Campfire with an Aussie accent, and maybe a bit too lefty for me to hang around ALL the time.  , but there aren't that many differences. Both places have a lot of folks with a lot of experiences, and the willingness to share, which is a big deal when some dumbazz like me needs to know something quick. I spend too much time here, for damned sure, but it's cheap entertainment. It's a lot of fun. So is AHN, when I'm in the mood, but they're pretty hard to convince them all to work together to fight the anti-gun crowd you have down there, they enjoy infighting amongst themselves too much to ever do something so rational.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
