WoooHooo, just got back from a lunch stop at the local "toy" shop and a Mod 12 VR with Cutts followed me back to work. Not much finish left but tight as a vault. Can't wait to "give it a shot".

I bought a front end with a cutts on it for a 16 ga. to get the parts less the barrel. I collect M-12 parts and I now have built that gun out of parts. I managed to find a skeet barrel with a solid rib for it and I just got ahold of some gorgeous Herters wood for a 12 ga. that is almost done being fitted to that nice trim little 16 ga receiver. This one will likely be what I use for grouse hunting from here on out. I think this is the third one I've built out of parts. I'm not even sure anymore how many model 12s are in the safes. They are by far the gun most likely to be adopted by me. I rescued one that some miscreant put a thumbhole stock on.
Model 12s are great! Hunt with it! Enjoy it.

I lucked into an old Model 12 in 16ga at one of my local shops last year. It was a great price due to it being reblued and having a 2.5 inch chamber. It was perfect for me as I wanted a shooter and not a collector piece, and at less than $200 feels and shoots great.

CRAP... The ejector is broken. They're going to fix it. Wanted to smoke a few clays.

Just almost bought a 26" IC barrel on Gunbroker, but it got to high. Thought I would build a gun or maybe add to the two barrel 1912 I already have or just sell it off and stay with the other trap gun I have. Fun to mess around with.

I'm not a pump gun guy but I like M12's. Ithica 37, M12, or 870 Wingmaster (in that order) would be the only choices if I were to ever have another pump.
