I was wondering if it's possible to put sights on Ruger MKII Rifle say a 30/06 or 300 Win Mag and what it would cost if it could be done.

It can be done. I had a Ruger 1B tapped for a ramp front sight.
That cost me $40 three years ago.(ramp + 2 tapped holes)

Damn that sounds good! I was looking at Brownells and the band front sight was only $120 for the front sight plus bench time.

I did cheap, with a Marble front ramp($12) and a green fiber optic front sight.(green is the only sight that works for my eyes these days)

I have a set of Ruger sights for a stainless rifle, that was cut off the end of a 338 WM. The end of the barrel is still inside the front sight. Let me know if you are interested.

I bought a Whelen RS that the previous owner had removed the sights from and installed flush filed screws. I found the proper Ruger parts at a gunshow and gunsmith. My 'smith drilled out the screws for $40 and I installed the sights using epoxy on the front along with the set screw.
