Let's see some pics of game animals you've shot with a 30-06. Here's one of several that have fallen to mine: Used a 165 Gameking at 230 yards- the furthest I've ever shot a deer.
Only a fool would sell an accurate .30-06

Wind in my hair, Sun on my face, I gazed at the wide open spaces, And I was at home.

Never killed anything but a few does with a 30-06, none worth taking pics of. The rifle, a Rem 710, wasn't worthy of pics either!
Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

I don't hunt much with mine but here's one: Lazy deer, walking on pavement, deserved to be shot.
He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice.

I haven't shot much game with my 06 since the 1960's.. A few years ago I killed a whitetail doe with it, but didn't take a photo.. My wife killed antelope, moose, and elk with it before moving on to a 7 mag..

I haven't hunted with a 30-06 very much. This one went to South Dakota with me. 168gr TTSX. I'm sure this thread will go deep...

With a new Ruger I bought on the centennial of the old cartridge. (My older son was 6 then.)

Lazy deer, walking on pavement, deserved to be shot. I tired to get him to jump in the back of the truck first, but.......

I've shot quite a few deer with it, too, but this is the only pic I have. Everything else has been with a 270 or 300 WSM, equally fine calibers. This rifle is my dad's old Rem 721 that he bought when I was about 4 years old. Idaho Shiras, about 12 or 13 years ago
